๐ Terms of Use
Last updated: August 2026
By using PayKeep, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
1. About PayKeep
PayKeep is a free online salary and tax calculator for UK residents. It is provided as-is for informational and educational purposes. PayKeep is not a financial advisor, accountant, or tax professional.
2. Accuracy of Calculations
PayKeep uses publicly available HMRC tax thresholds to estimate take-home pay. While we strive for accuracy:
- Results are estimates and may not match your actual payslip exactly
- Individual circumstances (tax code adjustments, benefits in kind, employer rounding) can affect actual deductions
- Tax thresholds change annually โ we update for the current tax year but cannot guarantee real-time accuracy if HMRC makes mid-year changes
- Always verify significant financial decisions with HMRC or a qualified accountant
3. Acceptable Use
You may use PayKeep for:
- Personal salary and tax estimation
- Comparing job offers or employment scenarios
- Planning pension contributions and tax optimisation
- Educational purposes
You may not:
- Use PayKeep for illegal purposes
- Attempt to reverse-engineer or scrape the calculator for commercial redistribution
- Overload our servers with automated requests (we rate-limit where necessary)
- Present PayKeep calculations as professional financial advice without appropriate disclaimers
4. Intellectual Property
All content, design, code, and branding on PayKeep is the property of PayKeep UK. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute the calculator or its underlying code without written permission.
5. Limitation of Liability
PayKeep is provided free of charge. To the extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for any financial loss, tax penalties, or decisions made based on calculator results
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted service
- We are not responsible for third-party websites linked from PayKeep
6. Changes to Terms
